« Breastfeeding Part 2FlashForward »

Thank you

Monday October 5th 2009 | by Jo [mail] | Categories: Musings

In the last few months lots of life changing things have happened to us. Lots of life changing things are happening to my friends too. Here is just a snapshot; miscarriage, IVF, birth, death, cancer, affairs, divorce, house repossession, redundancy.

I spend lots of time worrying about ridiculous things. When big stuff happens to you or to those you love you realise that spending time worrying about how clean your house is or how much money there is in the bank is pointless.

So today I am counting my blessings and being thankful for all the many good things in my life. It sounds silly and trite but it is so important. Today I thank God for my family, my friends, the sunshine, the beach and for the time I have to enjoy them.
